The G7 is wireless (of course) and runs at 2.4GHz radio frequency. If you have ever owned a wireless mouse (or keyboard), then you would know that the battery is the weakest link in the setup. The G7 addresses this problem by providing two, yes two, rechargeable li-ion batteries. The charger unit is built into the receiver so this means that when you run out of juice, a new fully charged battery is just an arms' length away - unless you stick the receiver somewhere inconvenient... but you wouldn't... would you? Anyways, a neat little power indicator is built into the mouse so that you will know exactly when the juice will run out. Polytetrafluoroethylene. Say that three times fast. This material (PTFE for short) is padded onto the bottom of the G7 to give a smooth gliding movement while operating. No more getting stuck on the desktop when you are in the middle of a good game of Counterstrike. To give you more control over the mouse sensitivity, the G7 comes with in-game sensitivity switching where you can operate buttons on the mouse itself to move between 400dpi to 800dpi to 2000dpi and back - all without leaving your favorite game. Now this I gotta have one!
