If you have ever wanted to jump into your monitor (or TV), then you have to have one of these. The VisionStation offers a fully immersive display of 160°. Just imagine having a go at your favourite console game (Gran Turismo 4
comes to mind) on the VisionStation! Not to mention giving yourself a good fright watching movies like Jurassic Park! On the other hand, the space battles in Star Wars
would be awesome to watch (even better if you have a good home theater system as well).
The system is claimed to be easy to setup - just plug-in your monitor's VGA output into the VisionStation's VGA input and you are ready to go. The VisionStation runs a 4:3 aspect ratio so I'm guessing that a little tweaking would be needed to enjoy movies in letterbox format.
Portability was also a priority in its design. You can pack up the whole unit into two cases that fits quite well in a van. Total weight is around 42kg.

It seems that there is a class action lawsuit being filed against Apple with regards to the iPod nano. A Jason Tomczak is filing it claiming that had he known about the defects in the iPod nano, he would not have bought one.
The nano's screen is said to easily scratch and crack rendering it unreadable. Mr. Tomczak claims that while Steve Jobs is seen in the advertisement carrying the nano in his pocket, actually carrying the nano in a pocket with it's headphones will render the screen scratched beyond use.
Apple has acknowledged that there are defects to the iPod nano screens in "less than one-tenth of one percent" of its stock.
Maybe I will wait before I get one...

Lovely little device. It massages your foot, ankle and calves all at the same time. Put your feet into the well-shaped and comfortable foot rests and select from several massage options.
The greatest feeling for me is when the foot rests inflates and squeezes your foot, ankle & calves all at once. That really brings about great relief to your entire body. Then there is the kneading actions and the pressure massaging rolling about your entire feet. The reflexology massaging of the soles of your feet is also quite brilliant. You can also select to enable the vibration action to accompany the massaging.
The fabric covers are removable and washable so no worries about feet hygiene.
After testing the demo unit, I would strongly recommend this one.

Blu-Ray is a new up an coming disc format that looks set to blow away current DVD capacity. Blu-Ray is developed by the Blu-Ray Disc Association along with a host of manufacturers - Samsung, Dell, Panasonic, Sony, Apple, Hitachi, HP, JVC, LG, Mitsubishi, Pioneer, Thomson, Sharp, Phillips & TDK.
How will the format blow away the current DVD capacity? Well, a single Blu-Ray disc can hold 25GB of data - that's about 5 times more than the current DVD format! Okay, so a dual-layer DVD can hold about 9GB of data - which is quite big - but a dual-layer Blu-Ray DVD can take up to 50GB! There are also plans to develop multi-layer discs that can store even more data.

I love PDAs. They are always handy to have around. You have so much in the palm of your hands - contacts, grocery list, music, calculator, notepad and whatever cool stuff you can find.

Then I came across this little thingy here. Might be just the thing to keep the kids occupied.

The Tag Team Ops Deluxe Set comes with two TAGGER units (that's the blaster), and a pair of really cool HUDs (heads up display - the goggles). The HUDs has an LCD display control panel that provides live action video readouts of game stats.
The TAGGER unit is quite robust and configurable. You can adjust the amount of hits you can take, shields and other cool stuff. There is also a feature that tells you when you have locked on to an opponent - useful when you are in a good sniping position. The built in scoring system has potential to provide bragging rights as to who is the best shooter overall!

Imagine MacGyver (anybody remember MacGyver?) on a mission to recover some enemy documents. On his first baddie encounter, he had to use his supply of micro floppies to fix-up a trap so that it wouldn't blow his foot off.
Then, he had to use his box of blank DVD-RWs to cleverly redirect laser beams, thus disarming another diabolical trap. Next up, the few tape drives he had were used to tie-up some security personnel.
Now our hero has the target computer in front of him. Password hack is no problems, MacGyver is a genius. He gets past all the software security and the files are at his mercy.
Problem is, no more storage media... bummer.
But this is MacGyver we are talking about. Luckily, he had just bought a new Victorinox SwissMemory 128 MB USB Storage Device. With it's little USB 2.0 memory stick, our hero manages to download all the data and save the day!
Hey, it could happen.
By the way, the USB memory is removable so you don't have to worry about a big bulky swiss knife sticking out of your USB port!

Not many people are aware of this but tires are VERY important. The four round black things are the things that guide your car on the road. You can have the best engine, the best brakes, the best suspensions or the best electronics monitoring your car - but if your tires don't work, you don't get to go where you want to.
That's why choosing a good set of tires is critical. When you do have a good set, you must know what to do with it. The first thing that you must know is how to inflate your tires.
Not Too Little, Not Too Much
Too much pressure and your tires loses the amount of contact it has with the ground. Some people might like this because it makes the steering feel 'light'. Too much tire pressure wears the tire more in the middle section because that becomes the primary contact surface. The outer treads gets used much less and you lose the maximum potential from your tires - in braking, accelerating and in turning.
Too little tire pressure and you risk the chance of stressing the sidewall of your tires too much. This is because the sidewalls become soft. You will get a 'moving sensation' while cornering which is very uncomfortable.
Uneven tire pressures can give you vibrations while driving. It can even cause your steering wheel to be skewed while driving in a straight line.
Keep An Eye On Those Pressures
Keeping an eye on your tire pressures can be a hassle if you have to go to your local gas station everytime you want to check them. That is where this crafty little thing comes in handy.

Check out this little baby from Apple. The iPod nano has to be the coolest MP3 palyer around.
It comes in two versions: one with 2GB memory and the other with 4GB. That totals up to about 500 songs for the former version and 1,000 songs for the latter! The number of songs is calculated based on 4 minute songs recorded at 128kbps. Colour choice is either iPod in white or iPod in black.
The iPod nano supports the following audio format: AAC (16 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Music Store), MP3 (16 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3 and 4), Apple Lossless, WAV & AIFF.

The pointer has two functions: one that keeps the laser on while you push the button and the other keeps the laser on until you switch it off.
The unit runs on one 3V type 123A lithium battery which will give you about 6 - 9 hours of power.
The continuous wave laser has a wavelength of 532nm and a range of about 20 miles (which is about 32 km)!
Now this is a cool toy to have in my pocket.

This latest offering from Sony is a 5.1 megapixel digital camera. It carries a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x optical zoom. The lens is a 35mm equivalent range of 38-114mm with a maximum aperture of f/3.5 at its widest down to f/4.4 at telephoto range.
The M2 is capable of shooting up 50 minutes of video in MPEG-4 format with 640 x 480 resolution at 30 frames per second. Sound is captured via built-in steroe microphones. Full resolution stills and videos are stored on the Memory Stick PRO DUO.
The M2 also comes with a built-in 57MB of memory to store VGA versions of still captures. This allows storage of up to 1,100 photos. With the M2's Pocket Album feature, you literally have a huge photo album with you anywhere you go. These photos can be shown off in the 2.5" Hybrid LCD screen. Once the maximum limit of storage is reached, the oldest photo will make way for newer ones. You can protect photos from deletion so that you always have your favourite photos on hand.
There is also a 6MB memory dedicated for music. You can upload your favourite music that will play with the Slide Show feature included with the M2. A choose of several slide show transitions is available one of which is a nifty 5 second video capture mode that captures 5 second clips along with normal still images.
And it looks really cool... I gotta have one!
