Anytime, Anywhere
As in availability. Imagine getting a great idea while having breakfast at your favourite coffee shop. Get out your handy little pen, and scribble it down on a piece of paper. Forgot your pen? No worries, a quick dash over to the cashier and she will be happy to lend you one. Try that with a PDA ("I just need to jot something down real quickly - look I even brought my own SD card..." - not gonna happen).
Depending on what ink you have, you can write on almost any surface too. Paper (obviously), serviette, your hand, your friend's hand, tablecloth... well, you get the idea.
For All Occassions
That's right. Other than write, the pen can also act as a fashion accessory. Blue handbag, blue scarf, blue pen. Pinstripe suit, expensive watch and a Mont Blanc in the top pocket.
Underwater? No problems. Get one of those pens that divers use.
James Bond you say? Get one that not only writes, but burns a hole in the wall with it's high powered laser (just don't chew the top end 007...)
In space? No worries. Get one of those state-of-the-art pressurised pen that pressurises the ink so that it flows out of the pen.
Or get a pencil...
I already have a few but what the heck... gotta have another one...
